Just a few thoughts on the increasingly popular Ben Croshaw and his Zero Puntuation reviews. Slick, tight and very entertaining but ultimately unreliable. Traditional, dependable games journalism takes a back seat as "Yahtzee" cultivates his ruthless journo persona. He seems more concerned with maintaining and protecting his fictional alter ego than he is with actually presenting a balanced, objective review.
It's a brilliant alternative to the convential written review - and genuinely funny - but not something I would take too seriously.
